What can you do in one month? You could form a new habit, travel the world, or you could disappear from the world of blogging due to the fact that you are catching up with family and friends? The latter is exactly what has happened to us this past month.
Three and a half weeks ago Ryan and I packed our car and headed north of the border to catch up with family and friends. Over this month we have enjoyed sharing the comfort and joy of family: contagious laughter, candid moments, animated conversations, late night movies, and hearty meals. We have been so blessed.
Another blessing, besides time with family, has been the joy of seeing and catching up with our kindred friends. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that God has blessed us with such amazing, faithful friends. Thanks for all of the great moments; we truly enjoyed our time with you all!
A unique opportunity that we have had this month has been that of casting vision for what God is doing around the world (especially in the country that we are growing to love). We have had the opportunity to share our heart (mind for Ryan;) for this country with students and other believers. It blows me away how following God can be such an adventure.
As we near the end of this adventurous, restful month, I am truly thankful for this time that we have had with those we love. We feel refreshed and ready to go back "home".
(I hope to post some pictures of our visit soon)
